Airport Project in Nha Trang, Vietnam – Material Control and Long-Term Trust
From material challenges to long-term partnership — delivering a complex airport stone project with controlled risk.
Project Overview
This project was for an airport in Nha Trang, Vietnam, using large-format yellow granite tiles (900×900).
Challenge
The project involved several challenges:
- Large tile size (900×900) leading to higher material loss
- Natural yellow granite with significant color variation
- Material hardness not sufficient for standard processing
Our Approach
Material Selection
To ensure consistency, we visited the quarry to check the material directly and control color variation at the source.
Process Adjustment
Due to the material characteristics, we adjusted the fabrication method and applied resin treatment similar to marble processing to improve strength and stability.
Result
The project was successfully completed despite the challenges in material and processing.
More importantly, the client returned and continued working with us on future projects.
Key Point
This project reflects our ability to manage material risks, adapt processing methods, and build long-term trust with clients.
